More of the Same

My dimple boy.

Parker got himself stuck in the cat stroller. Brett is showing his parents, who he was skyping with at the time.

Pinterest craft, airplane made from popsicle sticks and a clothes pin.

sidewalk paint, pinterest!

Making strawberry freezer jam with Nana.

mmm hmmm.

It is so rewarding getting smiles from babies.

It is so hard to catch the smiles on camera though!

Hey baby.

That looks uncomfortable.

One for each hand. My favorite things. If someone stuck a piece of chocolate in my mouth, I might have died from sheer happiness.

Twinners!!! I bought this baby doll for Parker before Tate was born. I gave it to him as a gift when we came home from the hospital so he would have his own baby. He plays with it now and again, mostly changing stinky diapers-wiping the bum included and dramatically saying, "ewwww gross!".  Can you believe the resemblance? How weird it would have been if I knew I had been buying a doll that was going to look just like my future baby!?

The classic "baby wearing big glasses" picture. These are Parker's glasses, he got a kick out of Tate wearing them.

What a difference in size from his newborn photos in this wagon!

hello big eyes!

This totally captures Parker. He was teasing me as I was trying to take a picture. He loves to be funny, he is loud, dramatic and fun loving. We always know what this boy is thinking!  We love him to the moon and back.

Purrddy baby of mine.

Father's Day 2012

I made the banner with my friend. It was a pinterest idea of course!

Parker made this for Brett in nursery. They did footprints with paint for all the kids, except Parker. Parker does not like getting messy, so every time they called him over to do his footprint, he would say to them, "not my turn". Eventually they gave up and called me to see if I could trace his foot and bring it the following Sunday. I remembered as we were leaving for church, so I traced it in a hurry as he skirmed and wiggled. I quickly cut the foot and realized at church that I cut six toes. Oh well.

Brett is an amazing dad. I hope he had a good Father's Day this year. Since we have church at 9 am, we skipped making him breakfast and made it the following Saturday. We bought him a scale and waffle maker- two things he has been asking for. We had dinner with my parents and Courtney, steak of course!

Catching up- End of May/Early June

Hims loves to sleep like this.

One of his first times rolling over, just after a bath, with some baby butt crack in there for ya. Your welcome. Notice the old man hair in the back, that is gone now :(

Mr. Tate man look and see, is there a smooch, a smooch for me? ( I sing this to him to the tune of "Mr. Postman" well at least I think that is what it is called. You know it, "hey, Mr. Postman, look and see, is there a letter, a letter for me?") I come up with silly tunes for both my boys. I find it a tad embarrassing to share them, but I thought it might be good to have it written down somewhere and this is the easiest way to do that.

Oh and he found his toesies. They are nummy.

a common expression for Taters. The almost smile.

First time in the saucer. Parker was very excited that it has a small train on it. "look, Tate, look! a train! choo choo!"

"crazy hair" as Parker calls it

another common smile for Tate

3 months

Parker in his bookshelf. Some nights he makes me read his books to him while he sits in there.

I've been trying to do activities with Parker from Pinterest. This was a hit. Baking soda and colored vinegar, drop in and it fizzes.

Reese's artistic interpretation titled, "The Fainting Goat"

Horseback rides for the whole fam this night, well everyone except poor Brett :(
