Hollidazzle Parade

The week before Christmas, we went to the Hollidazzle Parade downtown.
We bought some hot chocolate and Parker loved it, of course! We bundled Parker until he couldn't put his arms down. I also put on my snowpants and boots, to which Brett informed me that I looked embarrassing. I was pleased to see most people wearing snowpants and Brett ran into the mall three times during the parade because he was cold. Hehe!

Afterward, we went to the Macy's 8th floor Christmas display.

A Christmas tree in the downtown mall.

We also celebrated Brett's 29th birthday that week. Pizza always makes him happy.

Wee One Playing the Wii

I'm a little behind on blogging, so these pictures are from October.
This was Parker's first time seeing Brett play the Wii (since being a newborn). He just had to try it all by himself. He loved swinging the control around and would not be fooled when Brett tried to give him another controller that wasn't turned on.

Christmas Card

If anyone wants a Christmas card from us, send us your address.
You can email me, or post a comment on the blog. I will delete the comment before it is posted-so no one will see it.
Brett, Parker and Reese are taking a morning nap, so I'm off to shower.

Thanksgiving 2010

I knew you wouldn't believe it until you saw it, so I took a picture. The world's pickiest eater now loves Thanksgiving dinner. He ate everything except the sweet potatoes.
My Grandma, her friend Ken, my Dad, my Mom, Courtney and the three of us ate together.

Since Parker was too little to eat the turkey dinner last year, this is his first real meal. He LOVED it and ate the entire plate full.
Parker also had fun playing the Wii with Courtney and Brett that evening.

More Halloween 2010

Betcha didn't know that Anoka is the Halloween capital of the WORLD! It's true, I even saw it on the History Channel.
Obviously Halloween is a big deal there, don't be surprised if a rooster on a bike rides by your car.
o.k. this is for real! The only parking we could find was in the cemetary. No joke, everyone was doing it. Look, they even decorate the head stones with ghouls. Cool or creepy? You decide.
Ta-dah! the big parade! It was really cool, but Brett had to go into work so we didn't stay the whole time. We did walk around the parade line up though, so we saw all the floats.

Ward trunk or treat with Aunt Courtney.

Pumpkin carving and a weird smile from Parker.
