Transportation Museum

Parker still loves trains. With Brett really busy with school, we decided to entertain ourselves by going to a train museum in St. Paul. I am lucky enough that my parents are always willing to go with me and help with the kids.

The volunteers were really cute with Parker, showing him how to work the controls and be a real train engineer and conductor.

There were lots of trains in the museum, which is inside an old roundhouse where the trains are permanently parked. The kids are free to explore all the trains.

This one had a kitchen and beds!

This was everyone's favorite. An old private car with all the "modern" conveniences. With beautiful wood, green velour seats, private sleeping chambers and bathrooms, it look like it should be going to Hogwarts.

This train was HUGE and very cool. It looks like a train from a movie Parker likes, The Little Engine That Could. That train in the movie is a bad train so Parker was a little scared of it.

You can tell here that he was a bit scared.

Parker loved the train simulator.

He was also really glad to see his old friend Thomas in the gift shop.
