Fall Festival 2012

Parker LOVED the fire trucks again this year. Our home teacher is a volunteer fire fighter and Parker was shy but liked seeing him there.

He would have stayed there all day if he could.

They have a big free petting zoo which Parker usually loves. This year he wanted to touch the animals but had moments of panic if they moved a lot. I think it was because the goats were jumping up on him looking for food.

MN State Fair 2012

Parker's favorite, french fries. He loved watching how they were made in the back. Some of the workers were dancing and singing along to some music, which was entertaining as well :)

Our big fry and little fry.

Tate was treated to some snow cone. He was happy to take every bit we gave him.

Parker and Courtney have previously gotten matching tattoos in the dairy barn. However, now Parker has decided he doesn't like tattoos. He got one when they offered him a sucker, then promptly cried so we wiped it off. Tate decided his tank top arms were perfect to display a cow tattoo.

Looks like Parker would be great on a farm. Too bad his parents would not.

Tuckered out from the splendor of the fair.

Foot long corn dog. Brett, Parker and I shared it and couldn't finish the whole thing (we may or may not have previously eaten fried pickles, french fries, snow cone, milk, and funnel cake).

red velvet funnel cake, yes it was GOOD!

Parker was in heaven with the farm equipment.

He had to try every one.

Wanting to spoil Parker, we bought him cotton candy. But he didn't like getting sticky and didn't like the texture at first. He liked it if we pulled some off and put it in his mouth.

Till next year!

Parker's Birthday Party

A summer birthday makes for an easy party! After getting back from Utah, we threw together a play date at the park for Parker's birthday.

Most of Parker's friends were able to come. We had pb & j sandwiches, chips, fruit snacks, fruit and kool-aid.

The kids had nothing to complain about with the food!

Parker and Eli

Parker ran away from all the water in the splash pad.

Parker and Logan

We said no presents, but Eli just had to give Parker a matching remote control car that he had. Eli just gets Parker, every boy need a remote control car, right?!

Lots of fun with his present!

Parker turns 3!

Parker turned 3 on a Sunday this year. After church, he picked his favorite lunch to eat; broccoli and corn dogs.

In the afternoon, we went to Nana and Papa's house for presents, cake and ice cream.

We have multiple pictures of this expression for every present. He had been looking forward to his birthday now that he knows what it is. He was so excited for presents!

He was also very excited for a Thomas cake!

Parker's cousins came over for cake and ice cream. Good times!

Pizza Pie Boy

We got a mini pizza for Parker to make and bake. He was very excited about carrying the pizza box home.

He took making the pizza seriously.

We learned that Parker doesn't like tattoos. Parker learned that tattoos are not like stickers. We quickly washed it off and Parker was happy again.

Yum yum, that was fun!

More SLC

I found a few more pictures from our Utah trip on another memory card.
